About
Mike McGahan is the Chief Executive Officer and Trustee of InterRent REIT and President and CEO of CLV Group. He has over 25 years of experience in the real estate industry. Before leading the companies, Mike gained experience working at Regional Realty as well as Levinson-Viner Ltd. He later branched out to start his own company, Commveso Property Management Inc. in 1992, which eventually merged with Levinson-Viner Ltd. to become what we know today as CLV Group.
During his real estate career, Mike McGahan has bought, sold, financed and managed properties valued at over $3 billion. He has also gained experience organizing co-tenancies in the multi-residential class, which culminated extraordinary returns.
Notably, Mike has made community involvement a central part of CLV Group and InterRent REIT’s core values. The two companies have been involved with local and national charitable organizations, such as The Boys and Girls Club, Snowsuit Fund, Dragon Boat, Hope Volleyball, the Youth Services Bureau, Habitat for Humanity and Christie Lake Kids, to name just a few. They have also successfully raised money to help improve facilities and extend after-school programs for children at the Don McGahan Clubhouse in Ottawa’s east end and the Ron Kolbus Clubhouse in Ottawa’s west end.
Through their dedication and commitment to the community, Mike and his teams have set a positive example that continues to inspire others. Today, Mike is the Director of The Ottawa Hospital Foundation and he and his team continue to give back to the community on a regular basis through company-wide initiatives.
